43. Vegan alternatives to fish.

Description

At TTAF we seek to identify projects for the development of alternative products to fish based on vegetable proteins.

In the meat category there are several brands and many alternative solutions for hamburgers, sausages, etc … but we believe that fish is less developed and there may be an opportunity.

Possible approaches

– Fish burgers type “divine teresa”

– Bars or fingers

– Sashimi type “vegan zeastar”

– Steaks,

– etc.

Solutions not of interest

• Products that contain organoleptic attributes unpleasant for the consumer.
• Silver solutions from the need to apply EFSA accreditation through the NOVEL FOOD regulation
