Description

At the Tech Transfer Agrifood Fund, we are seeking innovation through the reduction/replacement of salt in the product without altering the organoleptic properties ad processing of the product.

Possible approaches

Testing carried out in pursuit of showing a beneficial effect for health will be valued, as well as a low cost of production/raw materials. It is essential to demonstrate that the functional ingredients added, in each case, have scientific evidence.

Solutions not of interest

  • Solutions of a high production cost or difficult to supply.
  • Without regulatory approval for human consumption.
