Description
At the Tech Transfer Agrifood Fund, we are seeking innovation by obtaining a flexible compostable sheet for automatic vertical packaging . The sheet should be printable in up to 6 inks and maintain the mechanical properties in these storage conditions:
- Cycles of storage at room temperature: from -5ºC to +45ºC.
- Subsequent packaging from 1ºC to 5ºC.
- Subsequent storage packaged -35ºC.
The solution we are seeking with this challenge should offer: a use life of the film, without losing mechanical properties, **of 3 years** and certified by the supplier.
Focus: sustainability.
Possible approaches
- Suitable from 45ºC to -35ºC certified use life of 3 years.
- Packaging – sustainable side, all of the plastics should be 100% recyclable. Search for the concept of proposals for packaging alternatives to plastic but with the same characteristics as plastic.
- Cardboard or paper format. Alternatives to the plastic bag.
- Plastic with compostable and biodegradable properties will be valued.
