At the Tech Transfer Agrifood Fund, we are looking for innovation in the development of low calorie snacks, maintaining engagement (tastiness).
Innovation in the formulation of oils/fats/other snack ingredients will be valued, so that the fat part contributes less (or no) calories.
Focus: Palatability, health, snack.
Possible approaches
- Innovation in process or new formulation of product.
- Ingredients that provide juiciness and flavour without calories.
- Light concept, low in calories and appetising.
- Juicy and with a good texturization
The recovery of by-products coming from the agrifood industry is valued.
It is essential to show that the added ingredients/formulations have scientific evidence.
