At the Tech Transfer Agrifood Fund, we are looking for oxygen sensor systems to introduce in the packaging of fresh refrigerated products and compatible with elements of _MAP_ , Modified Atmosphere Packaging.
Through this solution, we are seeking to reduce the oxidation of the packaged product, enhanced by storage conditions (light)
Possible approaches
- The solution will be in contact with the plastic packaging and with the food (e.g. cooked ham)
- It should comply with the current regulation on food contact.
- Application on transparent plastic will be valued.
- Oxygen capture (>0.3%)
- Easy implementation in packaging chain.
- Cost-effective.
